As of now, it will take time for Iyer to join KKR and play a match for the team. On Thursday, he will be given an injection as part of the treatment process for his back injury. Till the time Iyer does not get approval from NCA, he will remain in Bengaluru.

However, it is not yet clear how long it will take for him to return. Iyer needs NCA fitness clearance to join his franchise KKR. At the same time, keeping in mind the World Cup to be played this year, Iyer will not be in a hurry for the IPL.
