In such a situation, KL Rahul’s injury proved very lucky for Karun Nair. Karun was included in his camp by the Lucknow team for 50 lakh rupees.

Nair was unsold in the mini auction of IPL 2023 :-

Karun went unsold in the mini auction of IPL 2023. He made a lot of headlines in the year 2016 by scoring a triple century against India. During that time he scored 303 runs in 381 balls against England at the Chennai ground. He was the second batsman after Virender Sehwag to score a triple century for India.

Karun Nair after joining the Lucknow team said, “Really happy to join the Super Giants. I wish KL a speedy recovery and hope he comes back stronger. Looking forward to meeting his teammates very soon.” And looking forward to contributing to the team.

KL Rahul ruled himself out of IPL 2023 and WTC Final :-

Rahul has also ruled himself out of the upcoming World Test Championship final. He wrote that I am disappointed that I will not be at the Oval with Team India next month.
