IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians got a big blow before IPL. Cameron Green will not be able to bowl till the 13th of April. Mumbai Indians suffered a major setback before the start of the IPL 2023 season.

The player who was bought by Mumbai for the highest amount of 17.25 crores in the IPL 2023 auction will not be able to bowl for Mumbai Indians.

Cricket Australia has issued guidelines saying that young all-rounder Cameron Green will not be able to bowl till 13 April.

The Times of India reported that as per the instructions of Cricket Australia’s workload management, Green would solely bat for Mumbai until 13 April.

Cricket Australia’s guidelines to all franchises:-

It has been claimed in this report that the Cricket Board of India had already told all the franchises about the guidelines of Cricket Australia.

According to a TOI report, on the morning of the auction, BCCI CEO and IPL COO Haimang Amin sent a letter to the 10 franchises, saying, “Cricket Australia informs that Cameron Green will be fully available.

However, if he does feature in all four Tests of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India, Green will not be able to bowl for four weeks from the conclusion of the fourth Test, scheduled from March 9 to March 13, 2023.

The Finger was injured during the third test:-

Notably, the 23-year-old Australian young all-rounder suffered a finger injury during the third Test against South Africa, due to which he was ruled out. Right now he is taking care of his finger.
