IPL 2023: Rashid Khan caught ‘catch of the tournament’, Kohli also admired, watch video

Rashid Khan catch: The victory chariot of Gujarat Titans continues in IPL 2023. In a one-sided match, the defending champions, led by Hardik Pandya, defeated Lucknow Super Giants by 56 runs. Mohit Sharma once again shone with the ball and took four wickets in his kitty.

Rashid caught a wonderful catch :-

Actually, the opening pair of Lucknow, who came to chase the target of 228 runs, gave a great start to the team. Kyle Mayers and Quinton De Kock were taking the news of Gujarat bowlers fiercely. Especially Captain Hardik’s every move to stop Meyers was failing. In such a situation, the captain handed over the ball to Mohit Sharma.

On the second ball of Mohit’s over, Meyers tried to play a big shot and the ball stood in the air. Fielding at deep square leg, Rashid Khan first took a long run of 26 meters and then took a wonderful catch while diving. The video of this catch of Rashid is becoming fiercely viral on social media and fans are also calling it the catch of the tournament.

Former Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has also become a fan of Rashid Khan’s brilliant fielding. Sharing the video of Rashid’s catch on his Instagram story, Kohli wrote, “One of the best catches I have seen so far. Amazing Rashid Khan.”
