- With five championships, the most by any player in the IPL, Rohit Sharma has cemented his reputation as the most successful captain.
- There are very few people who can match his striking prowess in the shorter format. Rohit became the first batsman to score two double centuries in ODIs. And now he has three.
- In the first three IPL seasons, he was one of the most reliable batsmen for Deccan Chargers and helped his previous team win the title in 2009.
