IPL 2023: Rohit Sharma joins Jio Cinema leaving Star Sports. Jio Cinema has signed star cricketer Rohit Sharma as its brand ambassador for the current season of the Indian Premier League.
Sharma gets TV broadcast rights for the first tournament:-
Interestingly, Rohit Sharma was earlier signed by Star Sports, the TV broadcast rights holder of the tournament.

According to Jio Cinema officials, Sharma will now be run in ads on the digital streaming app as its ambassador.
