IPL 2023: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) dropped Kane Williamson from the team. SRH has shown the way out to skipper Kane Williamson ahead of the IPL mini-auction.

Williamson is unhappy with this decision of the franchise. New Zealand media has reported that Williamson was informed about the franchise’s decision after the T20 World Cup 2022 was over.

Why has Sunrise Hyderabad dropped Kane Williamson from the team? Sunrisers Hyderabad has not retained their current captain Kane Williamson.
Under the captaincy of Williamson, Hyderabad performed very poorly in IPL 2022 and the team could not even reach the playoffs.

For this reason, the franchisee has taken this big step. Now Bhuvneshwar Kumar can become the captain in place of Williamson.
