According to a Sportstar report, the winner of the final match will pocket a cool 20 crore rupees. This is a significant increase from the prize money awarded in the initial seasons of the IPL.
Chennai Super Kings Emerged Victorious
The runners-up won’t be going home empty-handed either, as they’ll receive a substantial 13 crore rupees. Last season, Chennai Super Kings emerged victorious, defeating Gujarat Titans in the final.
In total, the prize money for IPL 2024 amounts to a staggering 46.5 crore rupees. The team that finishes third will take home 7 crore rupees, while the fourth-placed team will receive 6.5 crore rupees.
And there’s more! The players who clinch the Orange and Purple Caps will also be handsomely rewarded.

The Purple Cap Winner
