Rahul’s Injury And Recovery:-

Rahul had suffered an injury in the first match of the 5-match Test series against England. He was ruled out of the entire series and had to travel to London to seek expert advice on his injury. However, Rahul has now returned to India from London.

LSG’s Season Opener And Rahul’s Wicketkeeping:-

Lucknow Super Giants will begin their IPL 2024 campaign on March 24 against Rajasthan Royals. While Rahul is fit and back in the team, there are doubts about his wicketkeeping.

Will Rahul Keep Wickets?

According to a PTI report, Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul has been declared fit to play in IPL 2024. However, he will have to avoid wicketkeeping in the initial few matches. He can resume wicketkeeping after a few days.

LSG’s Wicketkeeping Options:-

Apart from KL Rahul, Lucknow Super Giants have good wicketkeeping options in Quinton de Kock and Nicholas Pooran. If Rahul doesn’t keep wickets in some matches, Pooran or de Kock can take over.

Team India’s Concerns

On the other hand, Team India doesn’t want KL Rahul to face any problems with his wicketkeeping. Rahul can play a crucial role in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024.
