- KKR vs RR at Eden Gardens, Kolkata (Previously scheduled for April 17)
- April 17:
- DC vs GT at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad (Previously scheduled for April 16)
The Reason For The Change:–
The KKR vs RR match was originally scheduled for April 17, which coincides with Ram Navami. Due to security concerns and the potential impact on the festival, the decision was made to move the match to April 16.

“The Indian Premier League (IPL) today announced a change to the schedule for the upcoming matches of the TATA IPL 2024 season. The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals scheduled for April 17, 2024, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, has been moved to April 16, 2024.
The match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans scheduled for April 16, 2024, at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, will now be played on April 17, 2024. The decision to reschedule the matches has been taken due to the upcoming Ram Navami festival in Kolkata on April 17, 2024.”
