Kohli violates the IPL Rule: RCB vs Chennai Super Kings (RCB vs CSK) match took place in IPL (IPL 2023) on Monday. RCB won the toss and decided to bowl first. CSK posted a mammoth score of 227, leaving RCB 9 runs short of the target in reply. During the match, Virat Kohli violated the IPL rule, due to which he was fined.

Virat Kohli’s bat did not work in the match on Monday and he was dismissed after scoring 6 runs in 4 balls. The century partnership of Glenn Maxwell and Faf Duplessis in the middle overs brought RCB close to victory but CSK came back in the last overs. Earlier when CSK was playing Virat Kohli did something which was a violation of IPL rules. This happened when Mohammed Siraj was caught by Parnell’s ball. Although Kohli’s contribution to this wicket was nothing, his behavior was found to be in breach of IPL rules.

Giving information about this on the official website of IPL and it was told that Virat Kohli violated the rule of the IPL Code of Conduct, due to which 10 percent of his match fee has been deducted as a fine. Kohli has violated Article 2.2 of the Code of Conduct.
