KL Rahul will miss the match: The biggest match of IPL will be played on Wednesday at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Stadium. In this match, Lucknow Super Giants will face the mighty Chennai Super Kings. This will be the first time when world’s most popular cricketer and famous as Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni will play a match in Lucknow. At the same time, both the teams will be face to face for the second time in the current season.

KL’s Rahul injury serious :-

Before the important match, Lucknow has suffered a major setback. Injuries to skipper KL Rahul and key pacer Jaydev Unadkat have added to the worries of the LSG. Sources reveal that Rahul’s injury is serious and he is not fit yet. He may have to sit out not only Chennai but also the next few matches. In such a situation, all-rounder Krunal Pandya will take charge of Lucknow.

For the first time two real brothers will be captain of different teams :-

If Lucknow Supergiants hand over the reins of the team to Krunal Pandya in the absence of KL Rahul, it will be the first time in the history of IPL that two real brothers will be seen handling two different teams in the same season. Krunal Pandya has played 107 matches in the Indian Premier League so far, scoring 1,448 runs and taking 67 wickets.

Important matches for both the teams: –

Lucknow Super Giants and Chennai Super Kings are currently third and fourth in the points table with 10 points each after winning five out of nine matches in the current season. Now both the teams need to win three of the remaining five matches to reach the playoffs. In such a situation, a tough fight can be seen between LSG and CSK in Ekana.
