Maharashtra govt allowed IPL teams to practice at night

Maharashtra govt allowed the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams to practice at night, after 08:00 PM during the Curfew the teams can practice And allowed the teams for coming to the hotel to the training ground.

Due to the increasing cases of Covid-19 in Mumbai and Maharashtra, the state government on Sunday announced a curfew in the entire Maharashtra including Mumbai from 8 pm to 7 am.

Department of Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation said

A letter issued by the Secretary, Department of Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation said- the teams will be held in CCI (Cricket Club of India) and MCA (Maharashtra Cricket Association) in Wankhede in two sessions from 4 pm to 6:30 pm and 7:30 pm to 10 pm.

10 matches of IPL are scheduled to be held in Mumbai. All these matches will take place at the Wankhede Stadium. Nine of these matches will start at 7.30 pm and one match will start at 3:30 pm.

The first match at Wankhede will be played on April 10 between Chennai Super Kings and Delhi Capitals.

Meanwhile, Mumbai Cricket Association has got a big relief as the 10 employees of the Wankhede Stadium, who had previously been tested positive, have now come on negative.
