RCB played this practice game in the absence of Virat Kohli, although Kohli has now joined the team. Suyyash and Faf Duplessis were chosen as the two captains. Suyash’s team scored 217 runs in 20 overs, in which Lomror scored an unbeaten 48 off 27 balls. A good sign for the team is that Glenn Maxwell looked in good form, scoring an unbeaten 78 off 46 balls.

In response, Faf Duplessis’s team could only manage 215 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Michael Bracewell brought up his century in style, scoring 105 off 55 balls. He also remained unbeaten, which is a good thing but it is also a problem for the bowling unit that he failed to take wickets. Faf Duplessis scored 47 off 35 balls.
