Mumbai gets stronger with the return of De Kock
Quinton de Kock, who was in Quarantine, did not play the first match. Now he is available for selection, so he is scheduled to play. There is a possibility that he will open the opening with captain Rohit Sharma.
This means that Chris Lynn may have to sit on the bench. Lynn scored the most runs for Mumbai in the first match.
Mumbai cricket director Zaheer Khan said that de Kock has practiced with the team. He said that ‘it is a good headache.
It is fortunate to be part of a team where people are waiting for opportunities. Mumbai would hope that the top order, as well as its powerful lower middle order, would not disappoint in this match- said, Zaheer Khan
Kolkata Knight Riders’s trouble
A total of 27 matches have so far played between Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders, out of which Mumbai Indians has won 21matches. and also MI has won nine of the last 10 matches. In such a situation, MI will have to maintain its dominance over KKR. The biggest worry for Kolkata is its spin bowling which did not go into Sunday’s match.
Mumbai has batsmen like Rohit, D Kock, Suryakumar Yadav in the top order, and explosive players like Pandya brothers, Kieron Pollard in the middle and lower middle. In such a situation, KKR will have to improve their spin bowling.
