Mumbai got new Pollard: In the 1000th match of IPL history, Mumbai Indians defeated Rajasthan by 4 wickets. Batting first, scored 212 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 124 runs. Chasing the target, Mumbai scored 214 runs for the loss of 4 wickets with three balls to spare.

The 42nd match of IPL 2023 was played between Mumbai Indians and Rajasthan Royals (MI vs RR) at Wankhede Cricket Stadium. Tim David gave a birthday gift to Rohit Sharma by hitting three consecutive sixes in 3 balls. Suryakumar Yadav played an inning of 55 runs off 29 balls. Cameron Green contributed 44 runs.
