MS Dhoni: The New stand named after M Karunanidhi before India-Australia Chennai ODI. A three-match ODI series (IND vs AUS ODI series) will be played between India and Australia (IND vs AUS) after the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
Last ODI MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai:-
At the same time, the last ODI between the two teams will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

But before this ODI match to be played in Chennai, the current captain of CSK (MS Dhoni) and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin (CM MK Stalin) will inaugurate the new stand at MA Chidambaram Stadium.
This new stand to house the Anna Pavilion at Chepauk Stadium will be named after former CM M Karunanidhi.
To be opened by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on March 17:-
The new stand is being built in honor of the present CM MK Stalin’s father. Late Karudhanidhi served as the Chief Minister of the state five times between 1996 and 2011. To be opened by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 17 March.
At the same time, former India captain MS Dhoni and Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin will also be present in this ceremony.
Simultaneously, in preparation for the 2023 50-over World Cup. The famous MA Chidambaram Stadium, India’s second oldest stadium after Eden Gardens, is undergoing renovations.
New stands to be available to the general public for final ODI:-
The new stands will be available to the general public for the third. And final ODI between India and Australia on March 22.
Karunanidhi was a regular attendee of sports at Chepauk throughout his political career. He was elected as an MLA from there during his last two terms as Chief Minister.
