New Zealand cricketers will have to stay in India for a few days said New Zealand Chief Executive Officer Heath Mills

The New Zealand cricketer playing in IPL 2021 including Kane Williamson will remain in India until 10 May. He moved to Britain only after that. The head of the New Zealand Cricketers’ Association gave this information. The rest of the players and support staff members can fly home by online flights arranged by the teams. Heath Mills, head of the New Zealand Players Association, gave this information.

Till now only British citizens are allowed to travel from India, but they will have to stay in quarantine for ten days at a government authorized center. Mills said, “Due to travel restrictions in the UK, the cricketer cannot be done until May 11. It is challenging for him to wait a few more days in India.”

Apart from Kane Williamson, Trent Boult, Kyle Jamieson, Michelle Sentner, Chris Donaldson (Trainer), Tommy Simsek (Feijio), Lockie Ferguson, Jimmy Neesham and Finn Allen are currently in India.

The New Zealand team will play the two-match Test series in England from June 2nd. After this, the World Test Championship final will be played against India from June 18 in Southampton.

Eight England cricketers reached London

Jonny Bairstow of England, Jos Buttler, Sam Curran, Tom Curran, Sam Billings, Chris Woakes, Moeen Ali, and Jason Roy have arrived in London and will be staying in Quarantine for ten days at the hotel. England’s limited-overs format captain Eoin Morgan, Dawid Malan, and Chris Jordan are expected to exit India in the next 48 hours.
