No quarantines for India and England players in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021

There is good news for the players participating in the ongoing series between India and England. they will get direct entry into the Bio Bubble for the 2021 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Players playing international cricket can get entry into the IPL bio bubble directly from their team’s bio bubble. They should not necessarily have a 7 days quarantine, while all others have to come under the rule.

Team owners, franchisees members, coordinators, and match officials must have the required 7-day quarantine.

BCCI official said about this- Players coming directly from the bubble created for the India vs England series can be allowed to join the franchise squad without serving a mandatory term, provided they fly directly to their flight Or fulfill the rules of boarding a bus then no quarantines for India England players for IPL.

If translation flights are used then all protocols for crew members must be followed. If the travel arrangement satisfies the Chief Medical Officer of BCCI, then the players will enter the franchise team bubble.- BCCI

12 bio bubble

12 bubbles will be created. The eighth bubble will consist of teams and support staff, while two will be for match officials and match management teams. Apart from them, two Karkovast will be for commentators and members.

BCCI officials will not meet players

BCCI officials will not be part of any bubble and as a result, BCCI officials cannot interact in person with any players, team support staff, match management teams, and crews.
