Although he could not win his team, but he broke the record of Australian veteran Adam Gilchrist with this stormy innings.

Charles Amini became the first batsman from Papua New Guinea to score the fastest century. At the same time, among the cricketers around the world, he left behind Adam Gilchrist in this matter.

Gilchrist scored a century in 67 balls. He also holds the record for scoring centuries in 72, 73 and 78 balls.

Charles left behind Gilchrist as well as Canadian batsman John Davidson, Pakistan’s Basit Ali and New Zealand batsman Craig McMillan.

However, chasing a mammoth target of 382 runs, the PNG team was bundled out for 333 runs. In this way Namibia won the match by 48 runs.

Namibian captain Gerhard Erasmus led the team to a big win with an all-round performance.
