Captain Warner told the biggest weakness of the team: In the 64th match of IPL 2023, Delhi Capitals defeated Punjab Kings by 15 runs. In response to the target of 214 runs from Delhi, the Punjab team could only manage 198 runs losing 8 wickets in 20 overs. Liam Livingston could not win Punjab despite playing a stormy inning of 94 runs. However, even after the win, captain David Warner looked unhappy with the team’s performance.

Captain David Warner looked unhappy with the team’s fielding after the win against Punjab. He said, “Our performance in the field was very poor. We backed our strengths. Playing on a good wicket helped a lot. It was very difficult to play at home. It was good to see the way Prithvi Shaw batted. Riley Rossouw Strong batting as well. We need consistency in our home performance. We didn’t do well at home. Nice to earn points tonight.”

Rilee Rossouw was the real hero of Delhi’s victory. Rossouw, batting in an explosive manner, hit 82 runs in 37 balls while playing at a strike rate of 221. At the same time, Prithvi Shaw scored his first half-century in IPL 2023 while batting brilliantly. David Warner played a brilliant inning of 46 runs.

Livingston’s stormy innings went in vain :-

Liam Livingston, batting in a stormy manner, scored 94 runs in 48 balls. Livingston was dismissed for a big shot on the last ball. During his stormy innings, the Punjab batsman hit 5 fours and 9 massive sixes while playing at a strike rate of 195. However, he could not win the team despite standing at the crease in the last over.
