Big update about Liam Livingston: Punjab had to face a crushing defeat in the 18th match of IPL 2023 played in Mohali. Gujarat Titans won by 6 wickets. No batsman could play a big innings from Punjab. Even Shikhar Dhawan’s bat did not work today. Matthew Short, however, played an innings of 36 runs. In the end, Shahrukh Khan played a cameo innings.
Shikhar Dhawan said on the poor performance of the batsmen :-

Batting also needs to improve. Batsmen have to play more responsibly. Proud of the bowlers that despite a small total, they took us to the last over.”

Shikhar replied to the question of not giving Liam Livingston a place in the team. Shikhar said, “Liam Livingston will definitely be available to play in the next 3-4 days. He came only yesterday and is practicing. Soon spectators can see him playing on the ground.” He advised the batsmen to perform better.
