Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara returned to the Indian Premier League after 7 years when he was bought by Chennai Super Kings at a base price of Rs 50 lakh during the 2021 auction.

Pujara’s record in the IPL is not very good. Till now he has scored 390 runs in 30 matches with a strike rate of 99.74 and an average of 20.53. He has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders.
