Born in a simple family in Jamnagar, Gujarat, Jadeja’s dad was a watchman, and his mom, was a nurse. Money was tight, and Jadeja often faced discrimination from his friends due to their background.

In 2009, Jadeja smashed into the international scene, debuting for India in both ODIs and T20s against Sri Lanka. He even scored a half-century in his first ODI, quickly establishing himself as a key player.

Jadeja has been a star in the IPL too. Winning multiple titles with the Chennai Super Kings, he’s considered one of the most successful all-rounders in IPL history.
