RCB vs GT: BCCI warns Matthew Wade, who ransacked the dressing room after being declared out LBW

RCB vs GT, Matthew Wade: Gujarat Titans wicket-keeper batsman Matthew Wade ransacked the dressing room after he controversially given out in the IPL match played against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Thursday.

BCCI gave warning to the player who sabotaged the dressing room:-

When BCCI came to know about this act of Australian wicket-keeper batsman Matthew Wade, it immediately swung into action. The BCCI has immediately taken a big action to cool down Matthew Wade.

The BCCI has held Matthew Wade as a Level 1 offender under Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct. BCCI has reprimanded Matthew Wade for violating the code of conduct.

RCB vs GT: Wade’s offense of violating the code of conduct :-

According to the BCCI’s IPL committee; “Wade pleaded guilty to a Level I offense and punishment under Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct.” The decision of the match referee for a Level 1 breach of the Code of Conduct is final.

The award of LBW to Matthew Wade was controversial:-

The statement gave no reason for the violation; but Wade’s awarding LBW was controversial. Even Virat Kohli expressed sympathy for him. Wade convinced that Glenn Maxwell’s ball had touched his bat before it hit his pad, and so he did not hesitate to resort to DRS when given out.

RCB vs GT: The vandalism in the dressing room, was disappointed with the decision of the umpire :-

In ‘Ultraage’, however, it’s not clear and the third umpire left the on-field umpire’s decision. This Australian cricketer then showed his anger by going to the dugout and then in the dressing room.
