Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will wear a blue jersey instead of red for one of their upcoming matches to pay respect to all the front-line heroes fighting against the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also, RCB has announced to donate 100 ventilators and 100 oxygen concentrators in Bangalore and other cities in the fight against Covid-19. The franchisee has joined hands with the Gate India Foundation for this.

RCB will now wear a blue jersey instead of a red to support the Corona frontline workers in the remaining matches of IPL 2021. In fact, through the blue jersey, the Bangalore team wants to show its support to the Covid frontline workers wearing PPE kits.

This New Jersey will give a message to spread awareness about fighting the disease. With this, RCB will auction all signed blue jerseys to raise money.

Royal Challengers Bangalore, who are batted with batsmen like AB de Villiers and Glenn Maxwell, will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League 2021 on Monday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli said, “This is a difficult time for our country. What is happening with the spread of coronavirus is really very worrying. It is only for the front-line workers, we can give humanity Hope to save.”

He added, “We salute them and want to create awareness among the people to follow all the security protocols. We will do the things that help in fighting this battle.”

Let us know that since the onset of the epidemic last year, Diageo India, the parent company of Royal Challengers Bangalore, has distributed about 30,0000 liters of sanitizer and spent 75 crores in the fight against the disease.
