IPL 2023: (Royal Challengers Bangalore) RCB’s Virat Kohli told why he sold most of his luxury vehicles. Kohli has sold most of his expensive cars.

His decision to buy expensive cars was ‘impulsive’:-

Talking about his decision, Kohli said that his decision to buy expensive cars (Virat Kohli Car Collection) was ‘impulsive’.

Many star cricketers of India are fond of cars and bikes. But many cricketers are unable to enjoy these prized possessions due to their frequent absence from the game.

Virat Kohli faced the same problem which forced him to sell most of his car collection over the years.

Kohli Said in RCB Bold Diaries During The Team Photoshoot:

“Most of the cars I used to own were impulsive buying decisions, I hardly enjoyed driving and traveling in those cars.

After a point, it’s all kind of pointless, so I sold most of them and now we only use what we absolutely need.”

Virat Kohli further said, “I think it is also part of growing up and becoming more aware and mature about things. You don’t feel like having ‘toys’, it’s about being practical.”

In a previous conversation, he had revealed that his first car was a Tata Safari, which he bought in 2008.

A Full-Fledged Music System was Also Included:-

He had expressed his love for the SUV at that time and said that he had also included a fully equipped music system in it, which was a trend in Delhi at that time.

In 2020, his first Audi car, an R8 model, was seen parked at the police station premises in Delhi.

He has been the brand ambassador of Audi India in the past and bought the model in 2012 before selling it in 2012 for an upgrade.

Sagar Thakkar, the person to whom Kohli had sold his car, was apparently involved in some financial scam, due to which the police seized the vehicle.
