The only international cricketer to crack UPSC, has connections with Sachin-Ganguly-Dravid. To pass the UPSC exam, every year lakhs of candidates appear for the exam to become an IAS, but only a few of them are able to fulfill their dream.
Till date many players have also passed this difficult examination, but here we will talk about Amay Khurasia.
Khurasia had passed the UPSC exam even before his debut for the Indian team. He is the only international cricketer who has passed the UPSC examination.

Was Included in 1999 World Cup Team:-
Amay Khurasia was born in the year 1972 and at one time he used to play cricket with Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Ajay Jadeja and Virender Sehwag.
He made his first-class debut at the age of just 17, playing for Madhya Pradesh. Khurasia, who bats with left hand, made his debut for the Indian team in the match against Sri Lanka in 1999.
He got a place in the Indian team for the 1999 World Cup, but did not get a chance in the playing eleven even once.
Scored More Than 7,000 Runs in First-Class Career:-
Amay Khurasia’s international cricket career did not last long. He was able to score only 149 runs in 12 ODI matches for the Indian team.
He played his last match for India in 2001 against Sri Lanka. On the other hand, he earned a lot of fame in his first-class career.
He scored 7,304 runs in 119 first-class matches. Apart from this, he also has 21 centuries and 31 half-century innings in his first-class career.
Where Are You Working Now?
If reports are to be believed, Amay Khurasia is currently working as an Inspector in the Indian Custom and Central Excise Department.

Apart from this, he has also given cricket coaching to Rajat Patidar, who is playing with Virat Kohli in RCB in IPL 2024. He also trained Avesh Khan playing for Rajasthan Royals.
