Rajasthan Royals (RR) captain Sanju Samson said on his flop batting after the match against Chennai Super Kings

Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson is not bothered by the failures and said that he will continue to bat in his natural style in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021.

Samson played a blistering century in the first match. In this match, the Royals suffered a close defeat at the hands of the Punjab Kings. After that Samson’s bat could not play against Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings.

After the Royals lost 45 runs to Chennai, Samson told a press conference on Monday night, “Actually this happens in this format of the game. I believe that it is necessary to play risky shots in the IPL. I have also said earlier that when I got successful, I took a lot of risks. This is the reason why I hit a century. So it depends on that day and your mindset.”

He said, “Actually I don’t want to control my shot. I want to play my shots and continue batting in the same way that I like. Therefore, I also accept the failures in my path. I am not worried about getting out but I also want to contribute to the team’s victory in the upcoming matches.

He said that the IPL is a long-term tournament and it is normal for some matches to fail.

Samson said, “There is always pressure to perform well.” When you play in the IPL, there is pressure. On some occasions you get success and on some occasions, you fail. IPL is a long-term tournament and you have to play 14 matches in a row. In such a situation, it is normal for some matches to fail. ”

Regarding the batting order, the Royals captain said that it is important for Shivam Dube to bat at number four.

“I think the batting order is very good,” he said. Shivam Dube is a batsman who plays spin and fast bowling well. Number four is a favorable place for him. Actually, it depends on the circumstances. ”
