Their all-rounder Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the rest of the IPL due to a hamstring injury, the franchise announced on Thursday.

Sunrisers Washington Sundar has been ruled out of the remainder of this year’s Indian Premier League due to a hamstring injury, the club confirmed on Thursday.
The SRH took to Twitter to announce their boycott:-
“Washington Sundar has been ruled out of IPL 2023 due to a hamstring injury. Speedy recovery, Vashi” it posted.
Sundar’s exit has dealt a major blow to Sunrisers who are at the bottom of the points table with just two wins from their last five matches.
SRH currently has four points and will take on fellow strugglers Delhi Capitals on Saturday.
Excellent with both bat and ball for SRH:-
Sundar had a slow start to the current campaign with both bat and ball as he struggled to make an impact for the former IPL champions.
However, things changed in the recent game against Delhi Capitals as the 23-year-old excelled with both bat and ball for SRH.
Sundar picked up three wickets in an over against DC and this included the big wicket of David Warner.
