The BCCI is Set To Start Five-Team Tournament Women’s IPL in March 2023, with the long-awaited women’s IPL, set to become a reality next year.

In which the BCCI is planning to organize a five-team tournament in March 2023, soon after the Women’s T20 World Cup culminating in South Africa on February 26.

The BCCI’s proposed plan includes a total of 22 matches in the league, with 18 players in each team.
Out of which maximum six are from abroad. A playing XI cannot consist of more than five foreign players, with four from full member countries and one from an associate nation.

The second finalist will be decided through an eliminator competition between the second and third-placed teams in the league stage.
The BCCI is yet to finalize the length of the WIPL, but it will be wrapped up before the start of the men’s IPL, which is likely to take place at the end of March 2023.
The tournament can be Played in caravan style:-
