Virat Kohli: The Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) will replace the coaching staff led by Virat Kohli’s childhood coach, retaining the team’s head coach Rajkumar Sharma in his post after the team’s disappointing performance at the domestic level.

Virat Kohli Coach Sacked:-

Dronacharya awardee Rajkumar Sharma has been the childhood coach of Virat Kohli. After this, it was believed that Rajkumar Sharma could be sacked.

When it came to Delhi’s performance, the team had a poor performance in the Ranji Trophy and was at the bottom of the team’s winning group after losing badly in Jharkhand.

A Senior Official Of DDCA:-

A senior DDCA official privy to the policy decisions said, “The entire coaching structure of DDCA will be revamped and hence Rajkumar’s contract will not be extended in the next session.”

The performance of Delhi’s team under Rajkumar Sharma has been very poor, last year. This team was not even able to reach the knockouts of Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy under Rajkumar Sharma.

A Committee has been Constituted:-

DDCA President Rohan Jaitley also said on this issue. We have constituted a committee consisting of Madan Lal, Vinay Lamba, and Sunil Valson to decide the future strategy.
