The Congress leader and former Indian cricketer returning to the commentary box may choose to stay away from the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Sidhu had refused to contest the Lok Sabha elections due to his wife’s ill health.
Let us tell you that Navjot Singh Sidhu played international cricket for India between 1983 and 1999. He used to play as an opening batsman for India. During this period he played 51 Tests and 136 ODIs.

In 78 innings of Test, he scored 3202 runs at an average of 42.13, which included 9 centuries and 15 half-centuries. Apart from this, in 127 innings of ODI, Sidhu scored 4413 runs at an average of 37.08, in which he scored 6 centuries and 33 half-centuries.
