The UAE Announces 14-Member Men’s Squad For ACC Premier Cup 2023. Emirates Cricket Board has announced the 14-member squad that will compete in the Asian Cricket Council Premier Cup 2023.

The 2023 winner will qualify for Asia Cup:-

The tournament will be a precursor to the 50-0 over ACC Asia Cup to be played later this year. The winner of the 10-team ACC Premier Cup 2023 will qualify for the Asia Cup.

UAE Men’s Captain Mohammad Wasim: “The ACC Premier Cup 2023 is another important tournament for us as we are fully focused on qualifying for this year’s 50-over Asia Cup.

The team displayed remarkable tenacity to deliver a quality performance in Namibia, which has earned us the opportunity to compete for a place in the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023.

“The team has played excellent cricket of late as a well-knit unit. I am very impressed with the commitment and passion of our players.

Mudassar Nazar will be the head coach of the team for the ACC Premier Cup 2023.

The 14-man squad competing in the tournament consisted of:

  1. Muhammad Wasim (Captain), 2. Ayan Khan, 3. Ansh Tandon, 4. Aryan Lakra, 5. Asif Khan, 6. Basil Hameed, 7. Junaid Siddiqui, 8. Karthik Meiyappan, 9. Matiullah, 10. Rameez Shahzad, 11. Rohan Mustafa, 12. Sanchit Sharma, 13. Vritya Arvind, and 14. Zahoor Khan.

Aryansh Sharma and Ali Naseer will accompany the team to Nepal as reserves.
