Virat Kohli and Babar Azam have been compared on many occasions. But if we look at the performance of both these players, there is a lot of difference.

Kohli is ready to play in IPL 2024. He has been a part of Royal Challengers Bangalore for a long time. Whereas former Pakistan captain Babar Azam did not even find any buyer in The Hundred. Along with Babar, Mohammad Rizwan also remained unsold for the fourth consecutive time.
But things aren’t so bright for Pakistan captain Babar Azam and wicket-keeper batsman Mohammad Rizwan.
Ouch! Both of them went unsold at the recent auction for The Hundred 2024!
This is the fourth year in a row that Babar and Rizwan have been rejected by the tournament. No buyers for these big names? That’s gotta hurt!
So, what’s the difference between these two and Kohli?
Kohli has been a record-breaking machine for RCB in the IPL.
If we look at Babar’s T20 record, he has played 290 matches. During this period 10495 runs have been scored. He has scored 11 centuries and 87 half-centuries in this format. Babar’s best T20 score has been 122 runs.
He has scored 3698 runs in 109 T20 International matches. He has scored 3 centuries and 33 half-centuries in T20 International. Mohammad Rizwan also performed well in PSL. He was a part of Multan Sultans team.
Babar, on the other hand, with his 10495 T20 runs, hasn’t even come close to Kohli’s achievements.
Mohammad Rizwan might have shined in the PSL, but The Hundred wasn’t his lucky ground.
