Warner IPL 2023: In the upcoming season, David Warner will be seen captaining Delhi in the Indian Premier League. According to the report of Cricbuzz, the Australian player will lead the Delhi Capitals in the league starting on 31 March. Whereas Akshar Patel will be his deputy.

Delhi Capitals’ ownership group said

Cricbuzz spoke to the management team of the franchise, who explained the change in leadership. A member of Delhi Capitals’ ownership group said, “David will be our captain and Akshar Patel will be his deputy.”

An SRH official revealed that the franchise management, in consultation with head coach Brian Lara, decided to appoint Markram as the captain following Markram’s impressive performance in the recent SA20, where the South African captain led the Sunrisers Eastern Cape team to the title.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has announced its new captain. Aiden Markram will take charge of Hyderabad.

Markram had recently said in an interview in Johannesburg, “I am ready to take over the SRH leadership if it comes my way but if it doesn’t I won’t mind. I am ready but it depends on the management.” The Hyderabad team needed a new captain after the franchise released their skipper Kane Williamson last year ahead of the auction.
