The Captain Has Become The First Player From Chennai To Score A Fifty:-

In fact, Ruturaj Gaikwad has become the first player to score a fifty as captain for Chennai Super Kings in the last five years.

Even Dhoni has not been able to achieve this feat while being the captain in the last five years. At the same time, Ravindra Jadeja could not score a single half-century despite captaining in seven matches.

If captain Ruturaj set the tone for Chennai Super Kings with the bat, then Ravindra Jadeja and Tushar Deshpande stole the show with the ball. Jadeja took three wickets while spending just 18 runs.
