Many players including Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis, and Glenn Maxwell participated in it. Du Plessis’s ears went numb during the launch event of RCB.
He was on stage for the jersey launch. Seeing this, Virat Kohli started laughing. Its video has been shared on social media.
Just after the jersey was unveiled, there was a loud explosion from a party popper. The blast was so loud that it left Du Plessis’ ears numb!
Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of their teammate in distress. Du Plessis was visibly shaken by the incident and took a few moments to recover.
The entire incident was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media. The new RCB jersey features a red and green color scheme.
The team will be hoping that the new jersey will bring them luck in the upcoming IPL season. RCB will begin their campaign against Chennai Super Kings on March 22nd.
