IPL 2024: Who is Anshul Kamboj? Mumbai has given him a chance to debut, he does wonders with the bat as well as the ball. Mumbai Indians have given a chance to fast bowler Anshul Kamboj, who plays for Haryana, to debut in the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2024.

MI Bought Him For His Base Price Of Rs 20 Lakh:-

Anshul was bought by MI in the IPL 2024 auction for his base price of Rs 20 lakh.

Anshul is a right-arm fast bowler and has been playing the role of an all-rounder for Haryana in domestic cricket.

Vijay Hazare Trophy 2023 proved to be very wonderful for Anshul Kamboj and perhaps because of that, Mumbai Indians have given him the opportunity to make his IPL debut.

Made His First-Class Debut For Haryana in February 2022

Anshul Kamboj was born on December 6, 2000 in Karnal, Haryana. He made his first-class debut for Haryana in February 2022.

Anshul has so far played 13 matches in his first-class career, taken 24 wickets, and scored 284 runs in batting.

He has been performing well since his debut. His T20 debut for Haryana happened in October 2022 and after that, he has taken 11 wickets in 9 matches in his T20 career.

Had An Excellent Performance For Haryana in The Vijay Hazare Trophy:-

Anshul Kamboj gained more popularity when he performed brilliantly for Haryana in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

He took 17 wickets in 10 matches played in the season. His economy rate in these 10 matches was only 3.58.

His performance proved enough to impress the IPL franchise. Because in the IPL 2024 auction, Mumbai Indians had included Anshul Kamboj for Rs 20 lakh.
