Let us tell you, the first match of IPL 2024 will be played on 22 March. The first match will be played between Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

This will happen in Chennai. After this, the match between Rajasthan Royals and Lucknow Super Giants will be played on 24 March.

Rajasthan Royals team will start its IPL 2024 campaign from March 24 with a match against Lucknow Super Giants. But before this, the Rajasthan Sports Council has decided to seal the Sawai Man Singh Stadium of Jaipur.

The reason for sealing the Sawai Man Singh Stadium is being said to be due to the outstanding money on the stadium.

According to media reports, crores of rupees are outstanding on the state cricket body due to which Rajasthan Sports Council has decided to seal Sawai Man Singh Stadium along with Rajasthan Cricket Association.

Rajasthan Sports Council Secretary Sohan Ram Chaudhary said that we had sent several notices to RCA but no response was received from them. He only replied to extend the time of the MOU. He had liabilities and he did not fulfill them.

He said that he sat down with RCA to find a solution but had to take this step. They received around Rs 200 crore but we were told that they have not received the amount.
