Women IPL 2023 Franchises: The BCCI has scheduled the Women’s IPL 2023 auction to be held on January 25, 2023. For the first time in India, a league for women is about to start. About 30 companies are participating in the auction of WIPL. Apart from this, Men’s IPL teams GT, DC, CHK, KKR, MI, SRH, and RR along with all 10 teams are participating in the auction.

Viacom18 has promised to give around Rs 951 crore to BCCI

The BCCI on Monday roped in Viacom18 for the first B media rights for WIPL. On the other hand, Viacom18 has promised to give around Rs 951 crore to the BCCI. Along with this, the broadcaster will pay Rs 7.09 crore per match to the BCCI for the next five years from 2023-27. Explain that Viacom has spent Rs 20,500 crore to get the digital rights of IPL of this big league.

WIPL auction: BCCI has selected 10 cities in India for the tender

BCCI has selected 10 cities in India for the tender. In which a party can bid for more than one city. None of this is value-based. At the same time, the duration of the bid in this auction will remain for about 10 minutes. Apart from this, BCCI will announce the winner of the franchises after the close of the auction on 25th January 2023. And January 23 is the last date for depositing the money for the auction, which the BCCI will start with Argus, a Mumbai-based legal firm. The value to teams is going to be much greater than thought.
