WPL 2023 Player Auction: A BCCI official told during the final T20 match played between India vs New Zealand that the auction for the Women’s Premier League auction will be held on February 13 in Mumbai.

WPL 2023 Player Auction Easy to arrange logistics in Mumbai along with BCCI

A top BCCI official confirmed, “The auction will be held on February 13 in Mumbai. The franchisees are comfortable with the date and venue. And it is easy for the BCCI as well as Mumbai to arrange the logistics. The official announcement will be made soon.” In such a situation, even during the auction, heavy rain of money can be seen on women cricketers (WPL 2023 TEAMS).

Not all the teams have been officially informed about the date yet

The auction will be held at a luxurious hotel in Mumbai. While the five franchises have not been officially informed about the date and venue of the auction. Senior officials of a franchise told that preparations for the auction are going on. But all the teams have not yet been officially informed about the date.

A top official from ADANI Sportsline, which owns the Ahmedabad franchise in the WPL, said, “We only have a tentative date for the auction. We were told to be ready for 13 or 14 February.
