WPL 2023 UPW vs MI: Mumbai Indians fast, bowler, Issy Wong has taken his name in the pages of history by taking the first hat-trick in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). In the 13th over, Wong completed his hat-trick by dismissing Kiran Navgire, Simran Sheikh, and Sophie Ecclestone on the back-to-back balls.

Issy Wong created history, the first bowler to hold a hat-trick in WPL

Issi came forward to Mumbai when the team needed them the most, taking a total of 4 wickets for just 15 runs in 4 overs, Mumbai defeated UP by 72 runs in Eliminator on Friday. Now Mumbai Indians will face Delhi Capitals on 26 March in the final.

Wong gave Mumbai a success by dismissing Kiran Navgire on the second ball of the 13th over. He scored 43 runs off 27 balls. During this, four fours and three sixes were hit. Natalie Sewer took the catch of Navgiro. After he was dismissed, Isi Wong made Simran Sheikh a clean bold on the third ball. Then he completed his hat -trick by cleaning Sophie Ecclestone on the fourth ball.

WPL 2023 UPW vs MI:

Apart from him, Sika Ishaq took two wickets for 24 runs while Sear Brant, Haley Mathews, and Janmani Kalita got one wicket each.

Earlier, Sivar Brant took full advantage of his life-giving life during his 38-ball innings. When she was on six runs, her catch was dripping at the mid-off of Eccleston (two wickets for 39 runs) off Rajeshwari Gaikwad.

The UP Warriors team was seen under control for the first 10 overs at the DY Patil Stadium thanks to their spin bowlers, so no batsman from Mumbai could play a big inning besides the Sear Brant.
