BAN vs SL: Big blow to Bangladesh, Bangladesh (Shakib Al Hasan) star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan tested positive for Kovid-19 on Tuesday, forcing him to miss the first Test against Sri Lanka starting May 15 in Chittagong.

Shakib’s PCR and ‘Rapid Antigen’ tests were done before joining the team which came back positive that is BAN vs SL: Big blow to Bangladesh.

Big blow to Bangladesh, Shakib was to join the Bangladesh team on Wednesday but he will now have to remain in isolation and undergo a re-test to return to the team. The second test match will be played in Mirpur on 23 May.

Let us tell you that Shakib played the last Test match against Pakistan in December 2021 in Mirpur so BAN vs SL: Big blow to Bangladesh.
