Michael Vaughan’s Controversial Remarks

Unable to digest India’s dominant victory, former English captain Michael Vaughan resorted to his usual complaints about the pitch. Vaughan accused the ICC of being biased towards India. He took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his frustration, saying, “If England had beaten South Africa, they would have reached the semifinals in Trinidad and I believe they would have won that match. No complaints as they weren’t good enough. But Guyana has been a fantastic place for India.”

Bhajji Fiery Response

Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as Bhajji, couldn’t hold back after seeing Vaughan’s post. He shut Vaughan down with a sharp response, “You think Guyana was a favorable venue for India? Both teams played at the same place. England winning the toss was an advantage. Stop the nonsense. England was outplayed by India in all departments. Accept the truth, move on, and keep your nonsense to yourself. Talk sense, not rubbish.”
