Christopher Henry Gayle was born on 21 September 1979. he is a Jamaican cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies.

Career- Gayle captained the West Indies Test side from 2007 to 2010, as one of the best batsmen of all time. He is the second West Indian to score more than Ten Thousand runs after Brain Lara. Gayle is one of the best players of T20 cricket. T20 cricket has given him huge success. Gayle has played in almost all prestigious T20 cricket match leagues around the world such as IPL, Big Bash, BPL, PSL, etc. He is also a good bowler, he has taken more than 160 wickets in the ODI match.

The first player hit a double century in ICC Cricket World Cup.

Most sixes in international cricket, more than 500.

Gayle announced that he would retire from ODIs after the 2019 World Cup, In February 2019. However, during the Cricket World cup (in June 2019), Gayle expressed his desire to play in the ODI matches against India in August.

Family – His father ( Dudley Gayle) was a policeman and his mother (Hazel Gayle) was selling peanuts and snacks on the street. He has 5 siblings. Chris Gayle has been in a relationship for a long time with his partner Natasha Berridge. The couple has a daughter named Blush.

He received his schooling from Excelsior High School, Jamaica. he did not attend college but joined Lucas Cricket academy in Kingston.

Charity – He started The Chris Gayle Academies in Jamaica and London with an aim to improve access to good quality education, training, and employment for at-risk young people in Jamaica and the UK.

Universe Bose – Gayle christened himself Universe Boss, and it is a suitable moniker for a man who lives a most bohemian life. Gayle has his own bar in Jamaica called Triple Century Sports Bar which he frequents regularly. He lives an extravagant lifestyle; his average day comprises of Shower, dinner, rum, party, drunk, sleep.
