Asian Cricket Council confirmed that Asia Cup 2021 postponed for two years
This year’s Asia Cup has been officially postponed until 2023. the Asia Cricket Council (ACC) has had to postpone the tournament due to rising cases of coronavirus and logistic challenges.
The Asian Cricket Council said in its statement, “The ACC Executive Board has decided to postpone the Asia Cup 2021 in view of the threat and sanctions of the coronavirus. The ACC has worked with the participants and partners to conduct the tournament this year Tried everything possible. ”

The council further said, “Due to the busy FTP there is no window available to hold this tournament this year. For this reason, the board has to postpone this season of the Asia Cup. This season will now be done in 2023 because 2022 The Asia Cup is already scheduled to be held in India. Its date will be confirmed in the future. ”
The ACC Executive Board after careful evaluation has made the decision to postpone the 2021 edition of the Asia Cup to 2023.

However, it has not been clear yet that after two years, Asia Cup will be held on any month and some date. But the Asian Cricket Council can organize it in Sri Lanka only after two years because the Asia Cup was to be held in Sri Lanka this year.
