In this match, 26-year-old Babar scored 52 runs from 46 balls. He hit 5 fours during this period. Before the third T20I, Babar needed 17 runs to touch the 2000-run mark. He came to the crease after the end of the fifth over when Sharjeel Khan was dismissed by 18 runs. Babar touched the figure of two thousand in the 13th over.
