England wicket-keeper batsman Ben Foakes has been ruled out of the two-match Test series with New Zealand starting next month due to a hamstring injury. The England Cricket Board gave information about this.
England has also announced the replacement of Foakes. The team management has included wicketkeeper-batsman Sam Billings and opener Haseeb Hameed in the squad after the exit of Foakes.

The England and Wales Cricket Board said, “Fox was selected in the England men’s team earlier this month and was set to play his first Test under home conditions at Lord’s the following month, but on Sunday at the Surrey County Championship He has suffered a hamstring injury after slipping into the dressing room. He will now be assessed and his rehabilitation will be done with Surrey’s medical team. He can stay out of the ground for at least three months. ”

Haseeb Hameed return after a long time and Sam Billings will debut
Billings has played only limited-overs cricket for England so far and he is yet to make his Test debut. Opener Haseeb Hameed has performed brilliantly in the county season and has scored 474 runs at an average of 52.66. He played his last Test match in November 2016 against India. He will join the England team on Sunday.
