International Cricket Council (ICC) canceled three world T20 2022 European Qualifiers

Coronavirus has started to surround cricket. After the postponement of IPL 2021, 3 big events of ICC have been canceled due to the Corona epidemic. This information has been given by the International Cricket Council (ICC) itself.

Cricket’s highest institution said that all these matches were of the European qualifiers of the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia in 2022, which we had to cancel due to the rising havoc of Corona.

The ICC event qualifiers for Europe A were to be held in Finland next month. While the B qualifiers were to be held from 30 June to 5 July in Germany, Greece, Hungary, Gibraltar, Luxembourg, and Sweden.

The C qualifiers for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup were to be held in Belgium from July 5 to July 10. Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Portugal, Romania, and Serbia were to be involved in this.

The ICC said that after intense interaction and review from the tournament’s host countries, the countries participating in these tournaments, we sealed the cancellation of the three qualifiers tournament due to Corona. These bouts were also canceled because in more than half the countries there were many hurdles like travel movement, quarantine. All three canceled tournaments were to be completed by the end of July 2021. However, if this does not happen now, the ICC may consider rescheduling these tournaments.

IPL 2021 has also been postponed


Before the cancellation of these 3 major tournaments of the ICC, Corona whipped on the BCCI’s T20 League IPL as well. The 14th season of the league saw Corona panic on 4 players, after which it was decided to cancel IPL 2021.
